Black Point Boat Launch, Novato: launch details
Popular public launch at the mouth of the Petaluma River, looking out to San Pablo Bay. Put in from the boat ramp or high-freeboard dock, with a boat-washing hose and fish-cleaning station on site. Two lots, picnic tables, and ADA restrooms with running water are provided, with a $5 day-use parking fee and sunrise-to-sunset hours. The river is tidal, so currents and wind can be strong. Avoid landing in the marshes to protect sensitive rail habitat.
