A wide sandy bay beach on the Bay Water Trail, with a steep quarter-mile path from roadside parking down to the water, so bring a wheeled dolly. Check water quality advisories before you go, especially within three days of rain. Two Point Richmond alternatives sit close by: Ferry Point, the other beach in Miller/Knox Regional Shoreline, has an accessible beach path, a kayak drying rack, and free parking, while Brickyard Cove's Boat Ramp Street offers a hard concrete ramp for easier launching but only a few spaces and no restrooms.
