Emeryville Marina, Emeryville: launch details
A marina launch onto open bay water with sweeping Bay Bridge and Golden Gate views, shared by motorized and non-motorized boats. Put in from the cement ramp and high-freeboard dock, or use the boardsailer water-access path and rinse station just outside the breakwater. Free four-hour and paid parking, picnic areas, and restrooms are on site, and a kiteboarding outfitter offers seasonal lessons and rentals. Winds and currents can be strong, and the shallow Emeryville Crescent to the south should be avoided for its mudflats and sensitive habitat.
