Pittsburg Marina, Pittsburg: launch details
A marina on the tidal San Joaquin and Sacramento Rivers with bay access to the west and the Delta to the east, used by motorized and non-motorized boats. A dedicated small-boat slip has a low-float EZ launch with guide rails, rollers, and a SUP grab bar, reached by an ADA gangway and open on request 8AM to 5PM. Large free parking, restrooms, and a waterfront restaurant are on site, and the city rents kayaks and SUPs. Winds and currents can be strong, especially in summer, and small craft must watch for barges and ships in the shipping lanes.
