Riverview Park, Pittsburg: launch details
A kiteboarding and windsurfing launch on the San Joaquin and Sacramento Rivers, just east of the Pittsburg Marina, known for consistent wind. Launch from two ramps over a riprap levee, with rigging space and self-launch assist posts on the wide levee top. The four-acre park has roughly 50 parking spaces, restrooms with an outdoor shower, lawns, a playground, and picnic areas. The levee launch leaves little margin for error and suits experienced riders only.
