San Francisco Marina (Gashouse Cove), San Francisco: launch details
A scenic launch next to Marina Green and Crissy Field, near the Golden Gate, managed by SF Recreation and Parks. An ADA gangway leads to a low-float EZ launch with guide rails, rollers, and a transfer bench, but the dock gate is locked, so check out a free key card from the marina office. Free parking 6AM to 10PM, restrooms, lawns, and trails are nearby. Conditions outside the marina turn hazardous fast with strong winds, currents, and shipping traffic, so stay near shore and do not attempt the Golden Gate without experience.
