Baywinds Park, Foster City: launch details
A windsurfing and kiteboarding shoreline on the bay with consistent strong wind. Reach the water by a steep entry path near the turf rigging area to the north, or a ramp to a small sandy beach to the south, with a third beach about 0.3 mile along the Bay Trail. A large paved lot, ADA restrooms, washdown station, and an on-site boardsailing concession with instruction and rentals are here. Winds and currents run strong, and the steep ramps make water entry hard for hand-carried craft.
